As a teen, I’ve found that my friends and I all share a love for the thrilling attractions at WDW. As a result, we always have a blast, whether we’re screaming our heads off on Cosmic Rewind or feeling the wind in our hair on Thunder Mountain.
Here are the most popular and exciting rides that you cannot miss! These three rides are guaranteed to leave you breathless and exhilarated.
1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Epcot
If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then you will absolutely love Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This thrilling, award-winning roller coaster takes riders through space to save the world with the Guardians of the Galaxy while listening to one of the film’s beloved songs. The ride features a unique rotating coaster car that allows riders to experience the action from multiple angles. This has been the top favorite among teens this year.
You can only get access to this ride by virtual queue or Lightning Lane. If you plan on joining a virtual queue, we recommend making a reservation for Epcot and joining the queue at 7 am. This will increase your chances of riding compared to joining at 1 pm.
2. TRON Lightcyle / Run – Magic Kingdom
Another very prevalent ride among teens is TRON. Thrill seekers and fans of the sci-fi movie, TRON, will be delighted to ride TRON Lightcyle / Run. This high-speed roller coaster puts riders in the driver’s seat of a futuristic lightcycle and in a race against the orange team. The ride features stunning visual effects and intense twists and turns that will leave you breathless, especially at night. The queue for this ride is also futuristic and captivating. You can only access this attraction by virtual queue or Lightning Lane.
3. Expedition Everest – Animal Kingdom
For a more classic theme park experience, teenagers will surely enjoy Everest. This ride takes guests on an exciting journey through the Himalayas, with twists, drops, and turns that will keep them on the edge of their seats. The ride even features a surprise encounter with the fabled Yeti! This classic ride never gets old, and we sometimes find ourselves riding it four or five times in a row.
