Exciting news has surfaced for Walt Disney World Resort guests, who can now enjoy complimentary access to the water parks as part of their stay. This special perk will last from January 1 to December 31, 2025, and will provide guests with free admission to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach on the first day of their stay.
Typhoon Lagoon is near Disney Springs, while Blizzard Beach is near Animal Kingdom and the Coronado Resort. Guests can easily access these water parks by bus or parking their vehicles in the parking lot for free.

Typhoon Lagoon was created when a rogue storm transformed the once-pristine paradise into a tropical hideaway. The park’s centerpiece, the Miss Tilly, is the stranded shrimping ship impaled upon the summit of Mount Mayday, which erupts with a 50-foot water plume every half hour. The many attractions at this water park range from swimming or surfing at the (typhoon) wave pool to relaxing in the lazy river to riding the thrilling Crush ‘n’ Gusher water coaster. Resting on the sandy beaches or shade in this tropical paradise never gets old.

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite of the two water parks, but Blizzard Beach is another fantastic option. You can ride the chairlift to Mt. Gushmore and cool off at Florida’s first ski resort. When it melted due to the Florida weather, a water wonderland emerged with the 120-foot Summit Plummet water slide, competitive Toboggan Racers, and a 1,200-whitewater family raft slide. Chilling out here is totally gnarly!
The water parks are also seasonal; usually, only one is open while the other is in refurbishment. Therefore, guests should check the park calendar before their stay to ensure they can take advantage of this offer without surprises.

It is important to note that this perk is only available for guests on the room reservation. While included admission to the water parks is non-transferrable and non-refundable, it has no cash value and excludes specialty ticketed items and events. No refund or credit is given for subject availability, closures, changes, or cancellations. Entry is not guaranteed. Currently, no park reservation is needed to enter the water parks.

This water park perk is a fantastic opportunity for Disney Resort guests to enjoy the water parks and make the most of their stay. It is a great way to kick off their vacation and maximize their time relaxing or having fun during their trip. With so much to see and do at the water parks, guests will have a blast.
So, if you plan a trip to Disney Resort in 2025, take advantage of this fantastic offer. With free admission to the water parks on the first day of your stay, you can enjoy all the fun and excitement these parks offer. Don’t miss out on this amazing perk when you book your stay!
