The bright hues and festive patterns of Junkanoo merge with nods to Mickey Mouse himself in the Junkanoo-Inspired Collection, which includes a spirit jersey, designer Loungefly backpack, and Minnie ears.
If you’re a fan of Mickey and Minnie’s designer tropical looks for Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, you’ll love the new Mickey and Minnie plush toys, which feature a Bahamian twist on Minnie Mouse’s iconic polka dots and conch shell-patterned shorts on Mickey Mouse.
For those looking for a designer look of their own, Disney Cruise Line will partner with various Bahamian artists at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point throughout the island’s architecture, décor, and merchandise. Acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett created a uniquely Bahamian clothing line, including Minnie ears full of the bright colors, patterns, and straw often seen in local art. (Those ears are everything! I need them, lol.)
With these exclusive collections, guests can take home a piece of the Bahamian culture and spirit that Disney Cruise Line has infused into its newest island destination!
