Are you ready to experience the magic of Walt Disney World without emptying your wallet? Look no further; we have compiled a list of the top free things to do at the most magical place on earth. From soaring above the resorts in the Skyliner to exploring the wildlife at Animal Kingdom Lodge, these things will make your trip unforgettable. So, pack your bags and prepare to embark on an adventure that won’t cost you a cent!

Skyliner

Relaxing Rides in the Skyliner

We always say that the Skyliner is one of the best rides at Walt Disney World, and I bet you’ll find this to be true, too. A trip on the Skyliner offers relaxing breezes, scenic overhead sights of the resorts, and a view of one of the last migratory waterways to the Everglades for animals. It allows you to catch your breath after a busy day at the parks or a relaxing dawn to a new, triumphant day.

Resort Hopping

Rustic Fun at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds

You can take the Skyliner over to this next tip. While park hopping can be fun, resort hopping is just as exciting. You can explore the intricate themes in the lobbies, find Hidden Mickeys, and try new cuisines at each resort. Use the opportunity to take in the wonderful environment. Even catch some magnificent views of fireworks during the evening. This can be an enlivening and exciting take on a night out at Disney. This is one of our favorite things to do with friends. You might have to schedule a dining reservation at one of the resorts to access the parking lot.

Disney Springs

Gorgeous Skies at Disney Springs

Head over to Disney Springs for some delectable food, invigorating musical performances, and oodles of shopping. There are about 100 stores and over 60 restaurants at Disney Springs. Plus, Disney Springs has so many experiences you can do: bowling, hot air balloon rides, movie theaters, and the vintage Amphicar rides are just a few. There is bound to be something you’ll enjoy. Of course, the restaurants and shops will cost you money, but the entrance is free. We have gone before to enjoy the atmosphere and performances and had a great time!

Disney’s Boardwalk

Fun at the Boardwalk

Another place to decompress and unwind is the Boardwalk. This is one of my childhood favorites. The Boardwalk houses stunning acrobatic performances, reveling carnival games, a cool beach, relaxing bicycle trips, yummy ice cream shops, and delicious restaurants. There is much fun to have here with family and friends. You can get here by walking, taking the boat, or riding the Skyliner from Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge

Beautiful Zebras

If you want to see some giraffes and zebras but can’t go to Animal Kingdom, head to Animal Kingdom Lodge. There, you can see all sorts of beautiful animals without the hustle and bustle of crowds. The ambiance at this resort is extremely peaceful. After you view the animals, you can watch them inside, even at one of the mouthwatering restaurants. This is definitely a must-visit resort.
